Hi there,
I am at Long Lake pretty much everyday.
At the Old Sambro entrance,
I walk along the beach and the amount of garbage being left behind by people is bad.
Lots of cans and coffee cups litter all along the beach.
It’s not just one area sadly.
I don’t mind picking up garbage to help.
Could a beach cleanup be organized??
I love this beach and would love to help keep it clean!

We do cleanups usually in the spring and fall, if we see a mess that needs attention, then we will look for volunteers and post about a cleanup. thanks for anything you pickup.
We will have a look at the area soon.

Bicycles are permitted but motorbikes are not. E-bikes are presumably OK but this is an area of changing legislation. Regarding bicycle use, pedestrians have priority so high speeds are discouraged.
