Long Lake Provincial Park History Tour

Join us for a walk in Halifax’s Long Lake Provincial Park for a history tour, learn about these lands and their uses from the mid 1800’s to today. Your tour guide Martin Willison a member of the Long Lake Provincial Park Association since the 1980’s, will talk about the area that has been developed into walking trails near Dunbrack Street., Learn the history of the Dam at Dentith Road, the old rock quarry, and how the trails came to be.
