I really appreciated being notified that the annual LLPPA AGM was opened to the public for the 24 April 2019 @ 19:00-20:00, and was looking forward to perhaps volunteering in some capacity. Having said that, I did NOT appreciate , having shown up, on a miserable, cold, rainy evening, being told by someone at AYC that the meeting had been cancelled. There were other folks who had also shown up , also non-members, but we seemed to be the only ones who weren’t notified of the cancellation. If the people involved in the association are sincerely interested in possibly attracting new members, and keeping the ” general public” apprised, I would suggest an improved method of communication would be an excellent start!

We are very sorry to anyone who showed up to the meeting. We did post on our Facebook page that the AGM had to be postponed, It was a last minute issue that caused this. We will try and do our best in the future to let everyone know of changes.
