The trails construction is moving ahead with some of the trail at the back of Withrod lake nearly completed. Bridges are installed at points where a watercourse runs across the trail, and other places have culverts installed. Already we are seeing many people enjoying the new trails. But please be careful while in the park, as construction is still ongoing and there are heavy trucks and excavators moving around until the trails are finished.
Also as a reminder, dogs must be on leash and under control at all times in Long Lake Provincial Park. There are now some garbage cans on site, so please put all waste in it’s place. This will keep our park clean for all to enjoy.
