With an early spring work is progressing fast on the new trails at Long Lake Provincial Park. When finished more then 5 kilms of stroller friendly trails will take people from the new parking lot off Northwest Arm Drive around Withrod lake and back.

Construction on the new trails is well under way, the parking lot is in and it’s full steam ahead. Anyone that are used to going into Long Lake Provincial Park at the end of Peter Saulnier Dr (formally Cowie Hill Drive) will notice lots of work going on there, trucks and machinery working on the new trails. These trails will open the park up to many residents who have never has access to the park before, with an easily accessible parking lot and easy walking trails. Stroller and bicycles and walkers will have enough room to use the trails together.
