New parking lot construction started

A new parking lot and trail system project has begun this month on the east side of Long Lake Provincial Park. Long Lake Provincial Park Association along with The Department of Natural Resources have been working with Polycorp’s Peter Polly to get this project underway. We are very pleased to see construction begin on the Parking lot entrance, the project will see a parking lot and trail that will take you around Withrod lake, and also eventually connect to a new family park at the old pumphouse station off of Old Sambro Road.
