Long lake Provincial Park is a Pack In – Pack Out area, please take anything you bring into the park back home with you.
There is an abandoned campsite along the path on the southeast side of the cove that’s identified on Google maps as Tanner Burger Point. There is a collapsed tent, another shelter and various pieces of soggy clothing, sleeping bag etc. If I was to collect these things in a couple of garbage bags can they be left at the parking lot for collection.
I noticed a couple of bags by the sea container already with a note saying it’s garbage that was collected in the park.
If you put them by the garbage bin please come back and let us know here and we will make sure to put them in the bin. Thanks for considering helping us out. Mike H
