Here is an update to this post, we are posting before and after photos to see how much safer the pump house area will be.<\/p>\n

Before the start of Phase 2, the old pump house foundation and steel grate is still in place.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

With the old foundation and frates gone, pathways lead to a boat launch.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Long Lake Park’s phase 2 access is now underway, the old pumphouse site off of Old Sambro Road has seen the parking lot resurfaced and the old concrete pumphouse base has been replaced with a boat launch and pathways.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
